Our Mission

We are four seniors at Texas A&M University who all have an interest in video games. We were challenged to come up with a project for one of our classes and video games were clearly what we wanted to examine.

We decided that violence in video games was obviously a topic about which there was plenty of debate. We weren't sure, however, whether or not there was a site out there that gave a simple description for parents about specific games and, simply stated, is a certain game suitable for their child.

When a new game comes out, it has a rating attached to it. These ratings are a good indicator to appropriateness. Yet, we believe that it is not up to some corporate body to decide whether a game is right for a child. It is up to the individual parent to determine if their child is mature enough to handle certain content.

That is why this blog is here. We want parents to hear, from gamers, what games are really like.

We are gamers reaching out to parents.

If there is a game that we have not done a review for that you would like to review, feel free to email it to gamers2parents@gmail.com. We will review your submission and if it is an accurate description and suggestion for parents, we will post it and give you credit.
